So I am finally deciding to post something here on DA. I don't usually use the blog thing cause I have my own, but I do need to ask some opinions.

I've really gotten into illustrating in both manga style and "American" style drawings. So I'm looking to possibly getting into it for a living or at least for a side job but I need people to ask for commissions or requests or w/e. Because I'm still really new at all this and people don't really know my art yet, I'm looking to start off with some free art requests. Small stuff so I can get the hang of it and so everyone can get an idea of what I can do.

If you are interested than please comment and let me know. Finals are over on Friday (May 1st) so I'll be able to start immediately.

I do best with pen and ink but I can try stuff with the computer or with Prisma Pencils or Prisma Markers. I'm open to most anything. I won't do any porn or slutty/smutty things cause 1, I don't trust myself to do that and 2, I would like to not build a portfolio with that kind of art.

So here's some good news for Dare to Dream readers, supporters and friends. Dare to Dream will be back, its for certain now. I currently have two pages drawn out and another 9 more thumbnail pages mapped out with dialouge and expressions and all that. I plan to work on the first few pages tonight and into tomorrow. I plan to have the new revamped comic up by next week though I would like to have it up by this weekend...but we'll have to see how things work themselves out.

So for now, please enjoy to old comic and the Random Comics section as I get the new stuff up and online. They will probably be previews available on my DA account if you would like to get a sneak peek...

So I added my first piece of photography today. I'm thinking I might try to make a side thing out of it, I really do enjoy taking pictures so I figure why not make some money from it right? I tend to take pictures of nature and landscapes more than of people because no one ever wants to model for me :/ I wonder if I could take a nice picture of a person modeling? It's too bad all my friends are "camera shy." Quite a shame.

Anyway, as I said, I put up my first photo today. It's from my recent trip to Disney World Epcot in Dec 2007. It was seriously like 28 degrees or something like that. It was soooo cold! >_< But I took the picture cause we were walking our way around the worlds part of Epcot and I was like "Wow! Lookit that!" and then I took a picture. I love how it came out.

If anyone wants a print, please let me know. Cause if I know there's a interest for my photography I'll be more than happy to continue and offer prints.

Hey, I'm back and for once I don't have a cold I'm fighting off! Whoo! Anyway, I finally found time to do Date to Dream's next page, that makes 22 baby! It's moving a lot slower than I wanted it to, I expected Chapter 0 to be done at 20 but guess not. Might go to 30 at this rate. Either way, I know I'm like never doing night scenes again. I hate toning them, too much thought process and waaaaay to many layers. lol.

Anyway, I also added a quick pic of a current painting I'm working on. Once I'm done it I'll upload a much better quality photo, no blurring or anything lol. Stupid camera. Anyway, I'm off to bed, later all.

So I'm feeling a little better now. It seems as though people are reading my manga and I am starting to feel a little better about it because of that. But I still feel like it stinks. I think I might tone less from now on cuz i think I'm over toning the pages. Page 21 got way over toned but it looked so cool I didn't want to not use the tones...Oh well. I also probably won't do very many night scenes cuz it's annoying to have to think about where the light source is coming from in the darkness. Anyway, I put up page 20 an 21 today and 19 got added on Nov 3. So read and comment please.
I also managed to draw a picture of Katrina and Joel which i actually kinda like. So I made it into a wallpaper which you can download from the website... [link]
